Olivia Santoni
CEO
Olivia Santoni, with over 20 years of practical experience, possesses extensive global knowledge of the cosmetics industry.
After studying business law and healthcare product law, Olivia's regulatory career began as a medical device regulatory inspector in France. She then transitioned to the international department of the French cosmetics trade association (FEBEA) before relocating to the UK and joining the UK Cosmetics Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA).
Throughout her journey, Olivia successfully managed regulatory and international teams and, notably, led the UK Association's efforts concerning Brexit and international regulatory affairs.
In 2019, Olivia established Bloom Regulatory Ltd. Recognizing the growing business opportunities in the cosmetics industry, coupled with the increasing complexity of legislation, she founded the company to offer pragmatic and expert regulatory and strategic support.
Amanda Isom
Regulatory Affairs Director
Amanda Isom has 25 years of experience in the cosmetic industry and is a trusted expert in UK and European Cosmetics Regulation and compliance.
Having spent two decades at the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA), Amanda developed strong connections with government officials and enforcement officers, ensuring a deep understanding of the compliance landscape.
During her time in industry, Amanda has been actively involved in a number of industry and stakeholder groups and co-edited the SCS/Royal Society of Chemistry book on ‘Discovering Cosmetic Science’.
Today, Amanda leads the Regulatory team within Bloom, putting her wealth of knowledge and experience into practice, ensuring clients receive a high level of service and guidance in navigating the complex regulatory landscape.
Laila Manshi
Regulatory Affairs Manager
Laila Manshi joined Bloom Regulatory as Regulatory Affairs Advisor in October 2020 after graduating from the London College of Fashion with a distinction in MSc Cosmetic Science.
Since joining Bloom, Laila has guided many clients through the complexities of regulatory compliance and supported them in implementing their post-Brexit strategies. Her expertise also extends beyond cosmetics. Laila plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance for food supplements and general products.
Laila's responsibilities include overseeing and closely monitoring our extensive project portfolio, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard. Her contributions facilitate efficient operation of the regulatory department.
Sayali Garud
Regulatory Affairs Administrator
Sayali Garud joined Bloom Regulatory in April 2023 as a Regulatory Affairs Administrator. Originally from India, she is a talented cosmetic science graduate who holds a BSc degree in Cosmetic Science.
Before joining us, Sayali worked as a laboratory technician at a leading fragrance house and interned at an Indian e-commerce website as a regulatory research intern. During her time at university, she worked on NPD projects focused on blue light products and sustainable sheet masks.
With a strong educational background and a passion for cosmetic regulations, Sayali brings keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality. This enables her to provide comprehensive regulatory support to our clients, adding a valuable and diverse dimension to our team. In the future, she aspires to contribute to the field of cosmetic sustainability, with a particular focus on social sustainability.
Sofia Nuzzo
Regulatory Affairs Administrator
Sofia joined Bloom Regulatory in October 2023 as a Regulatory Affairs Administrator having graduated from the University of the Arts London with a BSc in Cosmetic Science.
At university, Sofia completed an industrial placement at a leading cosmetic company working in the claims department where she gained knowledge on all different types of products.
Most recently she was working part time for a luxury skincare brand assisting the regulatory department.
Ember Bryant
Regulatory Affairs Administrator (Part time)
Ember Bryant initially joined our team in July 2022 as Regulatory Affairs Administrator for the placement year of her MSc in Cosmetic Science.
Originally from the United States, Ember holds a degree in Education. With a deep passion for all things beauty, she brings a creative flair to her role and is eager to utilise her expertise in assisting brands in achieving regulatory compliance.
Ember's dedication to learning about cosmetic regulation ensures that she stays up-to-date with the latest industry standards, enabling her to provide invaluable support to our clients.
Ember currently divides her time between completing her university studies and continuing to support the Bloom team and clients.
Sandrine Arisma
Personal Assistant of CEO & Office Coordinator
Sandrine Arisma joined Bloom Regulatory as Personal Assistant in 2020.
After graduating with a Masters in Employment law from the University Paris 13 in France, Sandrine has been providing recruitment process support within human resources and recruitment agencies. Experience which she brings to the Bloom team.
Sandrine plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of Bloom Regulatory and is available as our first point of contact if you’d like to contact us.
Marie Kennedy
External Regulatory Advisor
We are very pleased to have Dr Marie Kennedy (Marie Kennedy Consulting) as our external advisor for special regulatory projects. With over 30 years of industry experience across four countries, Marie brings a commercially focused approach to regulatory affairs, compliance, and European/international affairs.
Throughout her career, Marie has worked extensively with global brand leaders, regulators, and initiatives in the cosmetics, home and personal care, and chemical industries and has a proven track record of anticipating and preparing for regulatory changes, developing implementation plans, and offering strategic business solutions.
Marie also played a key role in contingency planning, advocacy, and lobbying efforts during the Brexit transition, contributing to the development of UK cosmetics and "UK REACh" legislation.
